The Beatles Real Love Album

The Beatles Real Love Album
Real Love Album
Real Love Album was released by John Lennon (The Beatles). Lennon made six takes of the song in 1979 and 1980 with "Real Life", a different song that merged with "Real Love". The song was ignored until 1988 when the sixth take was used on the documentary soundtrack Imagine: John Lennon.

The Beatles Help For Indonesia

The Beatles Help!
The Beatles Help!
Sedikit cerita dari saya. Sebagai seorang Fans The Beatles, pasti anda semua pernah mengalami suatu hal atau kejadian persis halnya dengan Lagu yang dibuat oleh The Beatles. Hmm, kemarin saya sedang melamun.

Aminn.

G-Pluck Sayap Sayup The Beatles

G-Pluck The Beatles Indonesia
G-Pluck

Hmm, serasa seperti saat masa kejayaan The Beatles dulu. Ya, mereka pun kini terus melebarkan sayapnya agar terdengar ke seluruh dunia. Yang paling saya ingat ketika saya mampir nebeng ke Java Jazz 2012 saat mereka membawakan lagu "i wanna hold your hand", "in my life", dan banyak lagi lagu The Beatles yang dibawakan oleh mereka yang sukses membuat hati saya dkk terhengak melihat penampilan mereka.

Bravo G-Pluck! Teruskan gempita musikmu.

Museum The Beatles Hamburg Gulung Tikar

Museum Beatles Hamburg
Salah satu koleksi Museum Beatlemania di Hamburg
Selamat siang Beatlemania Indonesia.

Beatlemania sendiri dibangun bulan Mei tahun 2009.

Wah, sungguh ironis sekali. Padahal saya sangat mengagumi kota Hamburg, dimana dulu John Lennon dkk sering melakukan konser disana.

The Beatles Heritage

Today Paul McCartney and John Lennon's childhood homes in Liverpool have been listed at Grade II, celebrating the huge cultural and historic associations that the two houses have as the place where The Beatles composed and rehearsed many of their early hits. They were listed by the Tourism and Heritage Minister, John Penrose, on the advice of English Heritage.

20 Forthlin Road,  home of Paul McCartney from the age of 13 to 22 is the house where up to 100 Beatles songs were composed and a place of intense creativity and musical production. John Lennon lived at Mendips, 251 Menlove Avenue, from the age of 5 to 22. The house tells a biographical story of the legendary musician with tangible evidence of the band's formation and rehearsals, such as the porch which was enclosed by his aunt to ensure she wasn't disturbed by the music. Both houses are managed by the National Trust.

Yoko Ono said: “I am delighted to learn that English Heritage have classified Mendips as a Grade II listed building. Mendips always meant a great deal to John and it was where his childhood dreams came true for himself and for the world.” Simon Thurley, Chief Executive of English Heritage, said: "Listing very often celebrates architectural or aesthetic distinction, but in this case it celebrates historical association. The Beatles played an incredibly important role in the national cultural story. These new listings mark the special historical interest of the buildings where hits such as 'Please Please Me' were composed and where the phenomenon that was The Beatles began." The following places associated with The Beatles have previously been selected for listing: the Casbah Club in Liverpool, Abbey Road Studios in London and the zebra crossing outside the studios.

John Lennon Greatest Artworks

A Print by John Lennon was one of more than 150 artworks to go under the hammer during a massive art auction held in Darwin at the weekend.

But Framed gallery owner Anne Phelan was surprised an array of Beatles' memorabilia did not sell on Friday night.

The print of a purple elephant was valued at $1650, but it was passed in after no one bid $800.
Yesterday, Ms Phelan's phone was ringing with bidders who realised they had missed out on a bargain on Friday night.
Jayne Bade, of Brinkin, who purchased five paintings by contemporary Australian artists, regretted not bidding.
"We bought too many by the time this came up," Ms Bade said.

Julie O'Brien, of Coconut Grove, put in a bid yesterday after hesitating too long on Friday night and regretting that she didn't make an initial offer.
"It was up so quickly and it got passed in," she said.
The piece was one of a number of drawings Lennon made for his infant son, Sean. After his death, his wife Yoko Ono had them made into prints.
The purple elephant had been "lurking" in Ms Phelan's storeroom since she held an exhibition of Lennon's sketches in 2007.
"People were shocked there was a John Lennon on offer because few people knew he was an artist, which was always his first love," she said.
Ms Phelan sold about 140 pieces on Friday night, but some of the big names were not budging.
A painting by actor and comedian Barry Humphries was passed in after it did not get a bid above $2000. In Sydney, the man behind Dame Edna can sell his works for up to $30,000.
Ms Phelan expects more prints by John Lennon before Christmas.
